Getting your heart scan results

How and when will I get my heart scan results?

We aim to have your report sent out within 3 working days, however, we envisage most reports will be sent out the same day. All self-referral echocardiogram results will be reviewed by our cardiologist.

 

If you have self-referred a copy will be sent to yourself and your GP via a secure email.

 

If you have been referred by a consultant or other medical professional, the results will be returned to them.

 

If you have been referred by your GP we advise that you phone your GP practice doctor to confirm they have your results before arranging an appointment - unless your doctor has made a different arrangement with you.

We are trying to do our bit for the environment and therefore we aim to be a paperless company, however, we appreciate some people would prefer a paper copy posted to them instead.

 

This can be requested, and we will post one out to you.
