Self Referral
Our self-referral service is for anyone aged 18 or over who wishes to have an assessment of their heart whether they have symptoms or not. You do not have to have seen a clinician to book yourself onto any of our services.
You can book our services even if you have been referred by your doctor but wish to speed up the process.
The only patients we cannot see are people with known congenital heart disease (including ASD, VSD or patients with a congenital disorder that has a high association with cardiac disease e.g., Down’s Syndrome, Noonan’s syndrome, William’s disease) and professionally paid footballers.
GP Referral
​We are offering an alternative and faster approach to diagnostic imaging with the demand for clinical diagnostics being higher than ever. The traditional approach of referring patients to hospital for diagnostic tests are changing.
Many hospitals are now not able to provide this direct service and those hospitals that do often have long waiting times. Our service is for anyone aged 18 or over except for patients with known or suspected congenital heart disease or paid professional footballers. ​

Consultant Referral
We offer all our services to any patient aged 18 or over who has been referred via a private consultant referral or you may have been referred by a consultant within the NHS but wish to be able to have your heart assessment quicker than the standard route.
We are offering an alternative and faster approach to diagnostic imaging with the demand for clinical diagnostics being higher than ever. We offer all our services to all pilots that require a heart assessment as part of their medical required by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Private Health Insurance with
We are pleased to offer private heart scans through Vitality Insurance.
Before booking your scan

Please contact Vitality’s Member Care or Provider Operations team to obtain pre-authorisation. They will give you an authorisation code, which you’ll need to provide when booking your appointment with us.

What’s covered

Most of our scans are fully covered once you have pre-authorisation.

In rare cases, if a consultant’s fees are higher than Vitality’s agreed rates, there may be a small difference (shortfall) for you to pay. If this applies, we’ll always explain it clearly in advance.
